New Royal Enfield Classic 350 Fully Revealed In Clearest Spy Images

It is no secret that Royal Enfield is working on multiple new motorcycles including the next-gen Classic 350. The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted numerous times on the Indian roads. Ahead of the possible debut in the next couple of months, the new Classic from Royal Enfield has been caught completely undisguised.

The clear images reveal the design changes the new Classic 350 received over the existing model. The motorcycle retains the hugely popular retro classic styling. It gets the retro-styled circular headlamps with chrome bezels, chrome-plated exhaust, round-shaped rearview mirrors, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and prominent front and rear fenders.

The side panels and the fuel tank has C-shaped graphics, while the fenders have new stripes. The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 rear profile has been updated as well. It is now compact, and has revised tail-lamp and indicators. The single-seater variant gets upgraded seat with better cushioning. The twin-seater model gets split seats and blacked-out treatment.

The single-piece grab rail positioning has also been changed. The motorcycle is fitted with front disc and rear drum brake setup. The top-spec model is likely to get 300mm front disc and 270mm rear disc along with a dual-channel ABS system. The braking system is now moved to the right-hand-side.

The new-gen RE Classic 350 is based on the brand’s new architecture, which underpins the Meteor 350. Called the “J” modular architecture, the new platform will be used to develop new breed of RE 350cc motorcycles. The twin downtube spine frame is claimed to have improved the overall ride quality and characteristics of the Meteor 350, which replaces the popular Thunderbird nameplate. The company has added a balancer shaft to reduce the vibrations, which will improve the overall riding experience.

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be offered with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel with spoked rims. The top-end variant could get tubeless alloy wheels. The motorcycle also gets revised instrument cluster with a separate digital readout with fuel gauge.

The new-gen Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be powered by a 349cc, fuel injected engine that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. It will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
