Nissan India will soon expand its Magnite model lineup with an addition of a new XV Executive variant. It will sit between the mid-spec XL and top-end XV trims and is expected to be priced around Rs 50,000 premium over the XL trim. The XL petrol (NA and turbo) is currently available at Rs 6.47 lakh and Rs 7.62 lakh respectively and the XL turbo CVT costs Rs 8.51 lakh. Prices of the new Nissan Magnite XV Executive trim are likely to start from Rs 6.86 lakh and go up to Rs 8.86 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
On the exterior, the Nissan Magnite XV Executive features silver side cladding and 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the new trim offers a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and video playback, wireless MirrorLink, split screen for navigation and video, rear view camera, pre-installed Google Maps, 60:40 rear seat with centre armrest, a height adjustable driver’s seat and Isofix child mount. Though, it misses out on some features such as LED DRLs (daytime running lights), fog lamps and keyless entry and go.
The new Nissan Magnite XV Executive will be offered with the 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine options. While the naturally aspirated unit is good enough for 72bhp and 96Nm, the turbo motor makes 100bhp and 160Nm. Both engines can be had with a 5-speed manual transmission. A CVT automatic gearbox is exclusively offered on the turbo-petrol variants. One must note that the turbo-petrol engine’s torque figure declined by 8Nm with CVT unit.
Nissan’s compact SUV is currently available in four trims – XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O) – along with an optional Technology Package. The Tech pack comes at an additional cost of Rs 39,000. It offers some extra features over the already available features across all trims. The package includes air purifier, puddle lamps, wireless charging, ambient mood lighting, and JBL speakers.
