We reported earlier that Maruti Suzuki will launch the Swift facelift in November. The bookings for the refreshed model have already opened across Maruti’s dealerships. One can book the updated Swift by paying Rs. 10,000, while deliveries are expected to commence in early November.

The facelift Swift has received some mild tweaks to both exteriors and interiors, which will keep things fresh in the market. Under the bonnet, the hatchback remains unchanged. The production of the updated model has already entered into the production. The noticeable changes are likely to be offered on the Vxi and Zxi trims. It features new alloy wheels and daytime running lamps. The VXi trim gets new steel wheels covered with new wheel caps instead of alloys. Customers can choose between body colour or chrome door handles.

The other features include electrically adjustable and foldable outside rear view mirrors, new seat upholstery, keyless entry and auto-up function for the drivers’ side power window. Other then these, the car remain unchanged. Under the bonnet are the same 1.2-litre K Series petrol and the 1.3-litre oil burner. A five-speed manual gearbox driving the power to front wheels will come as standard. The company might also introduce the automatic variant; however, nothing has been confirmed on the same.
