It’s been around 3 months, the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga marked its Indian debut. With improved styling, more feature-packed and spacious interior and efficient powertrains, the new model is perfectly fitting in shoes of its predecessor. The MPV’s new-generation model garnered over 60,000 bookings within few weeks of its launch and outsold its arch rivals – Mahindra Marrazo and Toyota Innova Crysta.

The new Maruti Ertiga 2019 has average monthly sales of over 7,000 units. With such numbers, the ZXi and ZDi trims of the MPV currently command a waiting period of 4 months. In fact, the waiting period of the fully-loaded ZXi+ and ZDi+ variants stand at 6 months. Currently, the new Maruti Ertiga 2019 carline is available in 10 variants with both petrol and diesel engine options. Prices of the petrol variants start from Rs 7.44 lakh and go up to Rs 9.95 lakh. The range-topping trims – Zxi+ and ZDi+ – come with SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation function. The list of features also include leather wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, rear defogger, wash and wiper, rear parking camera, front seat belt height adjust, two tweeters, front centre arm rest with storage space, front fog lamps and 15-inch alloy wheels.
