New Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 facelift is ready to hit Indian showrooms on 20th August, 2018. While official bookings for the vehicle will be commenced in coming days, certain dealers have already started taking pre-orders at Rs 21,000. Aiming to clear the inventory, the carmaker is offering heavy discounts on the pre-facelift model of the sedan. One can get benefits worth Rs 80,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 on the current Ciaz model.
The 2018 model year of the Maruti Ciaz will receive minor updates inside and out. Though, the major change will be made under the hood. The new Maruti Ciaz 2018 facelift will be propelled by a new 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine that will be benefited by SHVS mild hybrid technology. The new gasoline unit makes 104bhp with 138Nm of torque.

The existing 1.3-litre Multijet diesel powertrian will continue to be on offer. The power and torque figures of the oil burner stand at 89bhp and 200Nm respectively. The new Maruti Ciaz 2018 facelift will come with two gearbox options – a5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic. Most of the design changes will be made on the front end of the sedan. The new Maruti Ciaz 2018 facelift will see a new grille, newly-designed headlamps with new DRLs, updated bumper and larger fog lamps. It will also get a new set of alloy wheels and revised taillamps. In terms of features, the new Maruti Ciaz 2018 facelift will be slightly more upmarket than the current model. It might get a new 7-inch Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and an in-built navigation system along with a new large LCD display.
