New Maruti Ertiga Variant-Wise Features & Mileage Figures Revealed
The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 2018 will be the most fuel efficient car in its segment.
Ahead of its launch on 21st November, the mileage figures and variant-wise feature details of the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 have been leaked on the web. The carmaker has confirmed that the new Ertiga will come with the new 1.5L K15B petrol SHVS and the existing 1.3L diesel powertrains and two transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic.
As per the leaked information, the petrol will deliver claimed fuel economy of 19.34kmpl with manual gearbox and 18.69kmpl with automatic transmission. The diesel variants, on the other hand, will return 25.47kmpl. Read: New Maruti Baleno Facelift – Top 5 Changes

With these figures, the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 will become the most fuel efficient car in its segment. Currently, the MPV petrol deliver mileage of 17.5kmpl (MT)-17.03kmpl (AT). Talking about the features, the entry-level LXi petrol and LDi diesel variants get projector headlamps, LED taillamps, 15-inch steel wheels, power windows with driver’s side auto down function, manual AC unit, tilt adjust steering wheel and 12V charging port in the front as standard. All variants of the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 get dual airbags, ABS with EBD, speed sensitive door locks, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts and central locking as standard safety fitments.
Features such as SmartPlay infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and navigation, rear parking camera and leather-wrapped steering wheel are exclusively offered on the top-spec ZXi and ZDi+ trims. The mid-range VXi and VDi models come packed with four-speaker audio system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity, steering mounted controls, second row centre armrest, rear AC vents, charging port in the first and second row, electronically adjustable and folding wing mirrors. While the VXi and VDi trims get 15-inch steel wheels, the ZXi and ZDi variants come with 15-inch alloy units.
