India’s leading SUV maker, Mahindra has finally launched the much-awaited new generation Scorpio in the country. With new Scorpio, Mahindra is aiming to further strengthen its presence in growing SUV market in India. It gets comprehensive makeovers to both exteriors and interiors. New Scorpio Variants– S2, S4, S6, S6+, S8 and S10
Engine- The base variant is powered by a 2.5-litre m2DICR diesel engine that is capable of producing 75bhp at 3200rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1400-2200rpm. The other variants of the SUV get the 2.2-litre mHawk engine, which is a 4-cylinder motor with Variable Geometry Turbocharger. This engine is capable of developing 120bhp at 4000rpm and a peak torque of 280Nm between 1800-2800rpm.This motors is coupled to an all-new 320MT five-speed manual transmission gearbox. The S4 and S10 trims also get an options Shift on fly all-wheel-drive system.
