Mahindra has finally launched the much awaited new generation Scorpio in the Indian car market. The new Scorpio is priced at Rs. 7.46 lakh for base S2 variant, while the top-spec model is tagged at Rs. 11.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). [New Mahindra Scorpio Variants]
New Scorpio gets newly styled front fascia which includes slightly modified grille flanked by new LED projector headlamps. Bumper has been redesigned to accommodate new hood scoop.
The new Mahindra Scorpio is powered by the same 75bhp, 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder m2DiCr diesel and 120bhp, 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine.
The new Mahindra Scorpio flared wheel arches have been fitted to new 17-inch alloy wheels. Its base variant gets 15-inch steel wheels.
The vehicle gets new dual-tone interior scheme, and is equipped with several high end features.
It features a new six-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
At the back, the new Mahindra Scorpio gets D-shaped LED taillamps.
The multi-functional steering wheel has directly been lifted from the XUV500.
