New Jeep Wrangler To Come With A 2.0L Petrol Engine
The fourth-generation Jeep Wrangler is all set to launch in India on 9th August 2019. While the official details of the SUV are yet to be revealed, a media report claims that it will come with a 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol engine. The gasoline motor pushes out a peak power of 270bhp and 400Nm of torque. The Wrangler SUV lineup will not be available with diesel powertrain.
The smaller capacity engine (less than 3.0L) and FOB (Freight on Board) price below US $40,000 will help the 2020 Jeep Wrangler attract 60% customs duty. Therefore, it’s likely to get more affordable than the existing model.
Visually, the 2020 Jeep Wrangler will appear more refreshing with updates like new 7-slate grille, full LED headlamps with LED DRLs, wider fender flares, new LED tail lamps, larger tailgate and repositioned number plate. The tailgate mounted spare tyres is placed slightly lower. Read – Jeep Compass Will Soon Get An Affordable Diesel-AT Variant
