New Jeep 7-Seater SUV Spied Testing For The First Time
The first spy pictures of the upcoming Jeep 7-seater SUV (codenamed – Jeep Low –D) have emerged on the web. The heavily camouflaged test mule managed to cover exterior design details of the vehicle. Though, it looks bigger than the 5-seater Jeep Compass.
Based on the Small Wide platform, the new Jeep 7-seater SUV is likely to get different steering gear and suspension unit than its younger sibling.

As of now, the design and interior details of the new Jeep 7-seater SUV are scanty. Though, it’s likely to feature slightly tweaked headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, larger C-column and revised taillamps. The interior layout might be similar to the Compass, but it will certainly have more features to offer.
On the engine front, the new Jeep 7-seater SUV is likely to get a new 1.3L, 4-cylinder turbocharged MultiAir 16V engine featuring electrically control valve opening. It (Europe-spec) pushes out a peak power of 180bhp with torque between 225Nm – 245Nm. Transmission on offer might include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed ZF-sourced automatic unit.
