The new Hyundai Santro will officially make its re-entry into Indian market on October 23, 2018. The Korean brand has also released a new television commercial of the hatchback to reach maximum buyers. Bookings for the new Santro have already been started online till 22nd October 2018. The TVC reveals the exterior design of the all-new Santro. Hyundai has already confirmed that the new Santro is based on the Grand i10 platform. Similar treatment can be seen on the fog lamps, which gives it a wider look. The headlamps are stretched back, while the side profile gets few creases. The TVC also reveals the original tall-boy stance of the new Santro. It is equipped with several segment-leading features including a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and rear air-con vents. The all-new Hyundai Santro is powered by a 1.1-litre petrol engine that is good for 68bhp and 99Nm of torque. The CNG-equipped variant offers 59bhp of power and 84Nm of torque. While the petrol version offers 20.3kmpl of mileage, the CNG-fitted model returns 30.5km/kg.
