New Hyundai Santro Beats Tata Tiago In October Sales
In October, the new Hyundai Santro outsold the Tata Tiago by 986 units.
The 2018 Hyundai Santro is the newest entrant in the small hatchback and it’s off to a great start in the market. The hatchback that marked its debut on 23rd October, has managed to outsell (by 986 units) one of its closest rivals – the Tata Tiago. The Renault Kwid was also behind the new Hyundai Santro 2018 with a significant margin of 2,500 units. The former recorded sales of 6,035 units as against 8,136 units of the same month last year. The South Korean carmaker recently announced that the new Hyundai Santro 2018 crossed over 28,800 booking mark in just 22 days. The hatchback also attracted over 1,29,500 customers’ enquiries. Just so you know, the carmaker started taking pre-orders for the hatchback on 10th October, 2018. With the help of new Hyundai Santro 2018, the company achieved its highest ever domestic sales of 52,001 units and cumulative sales of 65,200 units.
The new Hyundai Santro 2018 carline is available in five trims – Dlite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta – with petrol and CNG engines and manual and AMT gearbox options. While the petrol models cost between Rs 3.89 lakh – Rs 5.45 lakh, the CNG variants are priced at Rs 5.23 lakh (Magna) and Rs 5.64 lakh (Sportz).
