New Hyundai Micro SUV – Sunroof, Alloys, Grand i10’s Engine

Hyundai Ai3 (codename), the upcoming micro SUV from the South Korean automaker, is currently in its testing phase. Its test mules have been caught on camera multiple times revealing some interesting design details. In terms of pricing and positioning, the new Hyundai micro SUV will go up against the Tata Punch and the upcoming Maruti Fronx. It could be similar to the Hyundai Casper that’s sold in select global markets, but will be slightly longer. For reference, the former measures 3595mm in length, 1595mm in width and 1575mm-1605mm in height along with a wheelbase of 2400mm.

In the latest spy images, the new Hyundai micro SUV was seen with a sunroof that’s expected to be reserved for the higher trims. The front fascia will be adored by the signature grille, projector headlights and taillamps with H-shaped light element, circular fog lamps, LED DLRs and alloy wheels. As of now, interior details of the mini SUV are not available. Though, it’s likely to share some of its features with the Grand i10 Nios.

The new Hyundai micro SUV will be the most affordable offering from the company. Its prices are expected to start at Rs 6 lakh for the base variant and go up to Rs 10 lakh for the range-topping trim. The model is reported to witness a market launch during 2023 festive season.
