Korean automaker, Hyundai will launch the much-awaited new-generation Creta SUV in the Indian market on March 17, 2020. Unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo, the new Hyundai Creta 2020 comes with all new exterior and interior along with new set of engine and gearbox combination. The new model will directly rival the Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks and the MG Hector.

Ahead of the launch, variant-wise feature-list of the new Creta has been leaked on the Internet. It will be offered in five trim levels – E, EX, S, SX and SX (O) – and in total of 14 variants. Here is a variant-wise feature-list of the new Hyundai Creta 2020 –

New Hyundai Creta E – This variant is available in a single 1.5L diesel engine option with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat-belt reminder, high-speed alert and sppeed sensing door locks are available as standard.

Feature list include – Projector headlamp, dual-tone bumper, black radiator grille, rear spoiler, Silver B- and C-Pillar garnish, skid plate, 3.5-inch mono TFT multi-info display, dual-tone grey and black interior scheme, D-cut steering wheel with tilt adjustment, 12V power outlet, height adjustable driver’s seat, cooled glove box, manual AC with ‘Eco coating’, rear AC vents, central locking, remote locking, power windows, power adjustable ORVMs, lane change indicator and gear-shift indicator. 2020 Hyundai Creta Mileage

New Hyundai Creta EX – This model is available in 2 engine options – a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel – paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This variant has all the features available in the E trim. Adding to it, the SUV gets shark-fin antenna, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and voice recognition, Arkamys sound system with 4-speakers and 2 tweeters, and steering mounted controls for audio and Bluetooth Telephony.

New Hyundai Creta S – This trim level is also available in petrol and diesel engine options with single 6-speed manual gearbox. This model gets 16-inch steel wheels, front fog lamps, silver roof rails, glossy chrome front grille, metal finish on inside door handles, rear USB charger, driver rear view monitor, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry and push-button start, rear wiper and washer, auto light control and rear side-window manual curtains. New Hyundai Creta SX – This trim level is available in 3 engine options – a 1.5L petrol with 6MT and IVT, a 1.5L diesel with 6MT and 6AT and a 1.4L turbo petrol with a 7-speed DCT. This variant is equipped with high-end features like 17-inch alloys, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), HAC (Hill-Assist Control), rear disc brakes, chromed door handles, LED DRLs, leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, adjustable rear headrests, rear armrest, etc.

This variant is fitted with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, electric folding ORVMs, one-touch-down driver-side window, 60:40 split rear seats and reclining rear backrest.

New Hyundai Creta SX(O) – This variant will be offered with 3 engine options – a 1.5L petrol with IVT, a 1.5L diesel with 6MT and 6AT and a 1.4L turbo-petrol with 7-speed DCT. The top-spec variant is fitted with features like 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, six airbags, 7-inch instrument cluster, 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, remote engine start-stop, front ventilated seats, powered driver’s seat and electric parking brake with auto hold function.

The new Hyundai Creta 2020 will be offered in 10 exterior paint schemes – Mulberry Red, Typhoon Silver, Galaxy Blue, Titan Grey, Deep Forest, Polar White, Phantom Black and Lava Orange, Polar White with contrast black and Lava Orange with Contrast black.

The all-new Hyundai Creta will share engine line-up with the Kia Seltos. It gets a 115bhp, 1.5-litre petrol with CVT automatic, a 115bhp, 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed torque convertor and a 138bhp, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol with a 7-speed DCT. The petrol and diesel manual variants will return 16.8kmpl and 21.4kmpl respectively, while the turbo petrol with 7-speed DCT returns 16.8kmpl.
