Japanese two-wheeler maker, Honda has officially announced to launch an all-new motorcycle in India on September 30. The company hasn’t revealed the details about the product, but the teaser suggests that it could be a bigger capacity motorcycle.
We reported earlier that Honda is working on an all-new motorcycle to rival the Royal Enfield. The new bike could be the direct rival to RE Classic 350 or the upcoming Meteor 350. It is likely to be a cruiser-styled motorcycle.
The teaser says that “Get Ready For The Majestic Launch” and “Your Highness Is Arriving On September 30, 2020”. The new cruiser motorcycle could be based on an all-new platform. It was expected that the brand is likely to launch the Honda Rebel 300, which is on sale in select international markets. However, Honda has clearly said that the new bike will be designed and developed for India.
The new Honda cruiser motorcycle could be based on the modified version of the Rebel’s platform. The company has recently introduced the Hornet 2.0, which is basically the revised version of the Honda CB190R sold abroad. The upcoming Honda motorcycle will be sold through Honda Big Wing dealer network, which is designed for premium products. This could be the most affordable motorcycle to be sold through Big Wing Network.
