Honda 2wheelers India is planning to launch a series of new bikes and scooters in the country this year. The company is also planning to refresh most of its existing bikes/scooters to keep things fresh in the market. The first model to be launched in the country will be the updated Honda Activa 3G, which will be scheduled to be launched in India on February 4, 2015. The updated version of the popular Activa 3G features few cosmetic changes.
The updated model features 3G badges on both sides and a new 3-D Activa badge. Also on offer are two new exterior shades- Blue and Brown. The visual changes are very minimal and are very difficult to find the updates on first look. It is expected that the company might also made some tweaks to its mechanics. The Honda Activa 3G is expected to get slightly tweaked engine to offer more fuel efficiency; however, the outgoing model is claimed to return 60kmpl mileage.
It is powered by the same 110cc HET-fied engine that churns out a maximum power output of 8PS and a peak torque of 8.74Nm. This is all what we have for now; stay tuned to ICN for more updates on the Activa 3G will emerge tomorrow.
