New Hero Maestro Edge 2017

2017 Hero Maestro Edge will receive new graphics, AHO, new dual-tone colours and a slightly more powerful engine.

Hero MotoCorp is planning to revive its first indigenously developed Maestro Edge scooter with minor cosmetic upgrades and new dual-tone colour options. Alongside the new Hero Maestro Edge 2017, the home-grown two-wheeler maker will introduce the revised version of the Duet 110cc automatic scooter. Though the company hasn’t yet announced its launch plans, the brochure scans of the new Maestro Edge have emerged on the web.

Major design update on the new Hero Maestro Edge 2017 will come in the form of the Auto Headlamp On (AHO). The scooter will also receive new body graphics, LED tail lamp, bigger front wheel and tubeless tyres, boot light, mobile charging port, digital & analogue combo meter console and integrated braking system. There will also be an external filling slot placed near the tail lamp and an immobiliser.

Compared to the current model, that offers 8.31bhp and 8.5Nm, the new one is slight more powerful and less torquier. Since the new Maestro Edge’s engine achieves peak torque at a lower rpm, it will be more economical than the existing one.

The new Hero Maestro Edge 2017 prices in India are likely to be a tad higher than the current model. The scooter is, currently, available in two variants – Steel Wheel and Alloy Wheel – priced at Rs 50,330 and Rs 51,780 respectively (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
