New BMW X3

BMW seems aggressive with its strategies product and expansion plans for the Indian car market. The company recently launched the new generation X5 in the country, and is all set to introduce M3, M4, i8 hybrid supercar, 7 Series ActiveHybrid and new MINI. If media reports to believe, BMW will also launch the new generation X3 in the country.

The new BMW X3 gets changes to both inside and outside. The exteriors of the new model gets host of design changes. The front fascia features the striking BMW Kidney grille which is complimented by the new twin circular headlights- available in optional full LED specification along with optional LED front fog lamps. The bumpers now sports new contours, while the electrically adjustable ORVMs gets an integrated turn indicators. It also comes with new exterior paint shades and five new light-alloy wheel designs.

Inside, the new BMW X3 is equipped with high quality materials which come with chrome embellishments. The centre console features an optional automatic climate control system and wood panelling with pearl chrome highlights. It also gets new cupholders, with a sliding cover and a leather steering wheel. Customers can also choose from four new upholstery colours and four new interior trims. The new BMW X3 offers an impressive boot space of 550 litres which can be extended up to 1,600 litres by folding the rear seats.

The new generation BMW X3 is propelled by an all-aluminium, 2.0-litre diesel engines that churn out a maximum power output of 190bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm. The vehicle accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in just 8.1 seconds.
