According to a latest report, the new-generation Yamaha YZF-R25 will make its debut at the 2018 Indonesia Motorcycle Show. The event is scheduled to take place from October 31 to November 4, 2018. What’s more exciting is Yamaha might invite the renowned MotoGP riders – Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi – for the bike’s official unveiling. The 2019 Yamaha R25, which is currently in its testing phase, will share some of its design bits with the Yamaha R1. The refreshed model will sit on a new chassis and see a range of feature upgrades. Face of the bike will be revised thoroughly with a full LED headlamp, and a faux RAM ain-intake. At the tail section, the vehicle will get a LED taillight and two-tone exhaust. Other updates will include step-up split seat and clip-on handlebar. The new 2019 Yamaha R25 might also receive an all-digital instrument cluster replace the semi-digital unit. Suspension mechanism of the motorcycle will include upside-down telescopic front forks unit with a golden finish and a linkage-type rear mono-shock with preload adjustability at the rear. Powering the new 2019 Yamaha R25 will be a 249 cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder, DOHC engine pushing out a peak power of 35.50bhp (36PS) at 12,00rpm and a peak torque of 22.6Nm at 10,000rpm. This fuel injected motor is likely to get VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology and a slipper clutch. Transmission duties on the bike will be performed by a 6-speed gearbox.
