New-Gen Royal Enfield Bullet – 6 Key Details We Know So Far

Royal Enfield is ready to give a generation change to its highly popular Bullet 350 motorcycle. The model has been on test for a long time and caught on camera multiple times revealing interesting details. Major changes will be made to its design, engine and platform. Here’re key facts we know so far about the upcoming 2022 Royal Enfield Bullet.

Launch Date

The bikemaker hasn’t yet revealed its launch date. Though, the company released a teaser on its social media account that says “Bullet Meri Jaan” with a date (5th August 2022) mentioned above. Speculations are on rife that RE might unveil the new-generation Bullet tomorrow. It’s also set up to launch the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 on 7th August, 2022.

Meteor’s Engine

One of the significant changes will be made to its powertrain. The new 2022 Royal Enfield Bullet will come with the 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivering power worth 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The motor will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Spied

Besides this, the new RE Bullet will share its suspension and braking system with the Meteor 350. That means, it will come with the traditional telescopic forks upfront and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It will get disc and drum brakes at the front and rear axles respectively. There will also be a single-channel ABS.

Design Updates

The new 2022 Royal Enfield Bullet will retain the original silhouette and design elements. It will continue to feature the retro-styled circular headlamp, a curvy fuel tank, wire-spoke wheels, a flat handlebar and single-sided exhaust canister. No changes are likely to made to its wheels and tyres size.

The chrome treatment around the headlamp, rear view mirrors and taillamp give it a refreshing look. Its new single piece seat is likely to provide better lumbar support.

Expected Pricing

With the aforementioned new engine, new platform and minor design updates, the 2022 Royal Enfield Bullet is likely to cost around Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
