Royal Enfield has been working on multiple products, which are scheduled to arrive in the next couple of years. The Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer is reported to launch the new RE Himalayan 350 and the new-generation RE Bullet 350 in the first quarter of 2023. Both models have been caught on camera multiple times during its test rounds in India. Here’re key details of the all-new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 that we know so far.
New Platform
Similar to the RE Meteor 350, the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be designed on the new J-series platform. The company claims that its new architecture offers refined performance and power delivery with less vibrations.
Improved Design
The spy images reveal that the new Bullet 350 will share some resemblance with the all-new Classic 350. It will have newly-designed headlamp with chrome finish and new taillamp. The rear view mirrors will also get chrome treatment. The bike will have a new single piece seat that’s likely to offer better lumbar support. Some of its other key highlights will include upright riding stance, revised front and rear fenders and taller handlebar (inspired from the Classic Reborn).
Meteor’s Engine
Besides sharing its platform, the new-gen Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will borrow the 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from its sibling. The motor delivers a peak power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be done by a 5-speed gearbox.
The suspension setup of the new Bullet 350 will include the conventional telescopic forks upfront and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The stopping power will come from the front disc and rear drum brakes. The bike will also get the single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).
Expected Launch
Official launch timeline of the new-gen Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is yet to be revealed. If reports are to be believed, the bike will arrive in the first half of 2023.
