New-Gen Mahindra XUV500 To Launch Around 2020 Festive Season
The second-generation Mahindra XUV500 might make its debut at the Delhi Auto Expo that’s scheduled to begin from 7th February, 2020. The official launch, however, will take place around the 2020 festive season. The 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will carry an all-new front fascia revised with a larger grille, sleeker airdam, newly-designed headlamps and a long hood. Other changes will include roof rails, a shark fin antenna, plush-fitting door handles, new taillamp clusters and a more sculpted tailgate.

Interior details of the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 are scanty. Though, it’s likely to be packed with a bunch of new comfort, connectivity and safety features.
Major changes will be made under the hood. The 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will get a new, more powerful 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine pushing out power worth 180bhp. A new turbocharged petrol engine is also on the cards. The 2020 Mahindra XUV500 might get a new 2.0L gasoline motor delivering a maximum power of 185bhp. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and torque convertor automatic unit.
