In-line with its commitment of providing the latest technologies, Ford India has introduced the next-generation of its voice activated in-car technology SYNC®3. This system has made its debut on the new Ford Endeavour premium SUV. With a new processor, the SYNC 3 system offers better voice commands response. This makes it one of the fastest responding systems in the industry.
Ford’s new SYNC 3 is also the industry’s first system to offer voice-activated technology for smartphone control. It has the easiest command structure for making calls, searching destinations and selecting music. Besides this, the new-gen SYNC 3 also offers Emergency Assistance feature that automatically calls emergency services from a paired phone in case of an accident, when the airbags are deployed. As mentioned above, the new SYNC® 3 is initially offered on the Ford Endeavour’s top-of-the-line Titanium trim with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other new features include multiple integration of AppLink for smartphone apps control, Siri Eyes-Free capability and software updates via WiFi.
