In a bid to offer one more options to its buyers, Ford India has introduced Signature Edition range of accessories on the EcoSport. Based on the Black Titanium variant, the new gets several changes both inside and out. Priced at Rs 9.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Ford EcoSport Black Signature Edition gets accessories worth Rs 37,894.
The new variant gets LED daytime running lamps that feature a string of five LED lights added right below the fog lamp bezel. The vehicle also gets body graphics on either sides and new front & rear bumper appliques. On the inside, it gets black vinyl seat covers with red stitching and illuminated scuff plates. Since the new Signature Edition is based on the Black variant, it continues to feature all-black exterior including a black grille, blacked out headlamps, black wing mirror covers, 16-inch black alloy wheels, black roof rails & roof cross bars, black fog lamp bezel, etc.
The Ford EcoSport Black Signature Edition continues to feature the same 1.5-litre TiVCT petrol and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engines that do duty on the regular model. While the petrol mill is good for 110bhp and 140Nm, the diesel powertrain churns out 99bhp and 205Nm. The ARAI-certified mileage figures of the EcoSport petrol and diesel variants are 15.85kmpl and 22.27kmpl respectively, which are quite impressive considering the fact that it’s the most powerful car in its league.
