Tork Motors is all set to launch the long-awaited Kratos electric motorcycle in the Indian market. The company has officially announced that the deliveries of the new electric bike will commence in April 2022. The production of the new Tork Kratos has already been commenced at the company’s Pune based manufacturing facility.
The company had launched the new motorcycle in two variants – Kratos & Kratos R – in January 2022. While the former is priced at Rs 1.08 lakh, the Kratos R costs Rs 1.23 lakh. The prices are ex-showroom Pune (including state & FAME II subsidies).
The Tork Kratos R was also showcased at the Pune Alternate Fuel Conclave, which was organised on 2nd April to 5th April 2022. The company claims to have receive 5,000 enquiries during the 4 day event. Adding to it, Tork Motors had also delivered 1500 plus test rides during the event. Tork is currently focusing in Pune city and the first set of motorcycles will be delivered in April 2022.
The Tork Kratos is packed with a 4kWh battery pack that delivers 7.5kW and a peak torque of 28Nm. It is claimed to achieve 0-40kmph acceleration in 4 seconds and offers a certified range of 180mms. Offered in a single white colour option, the new Kratos is claimed to offer a real world range of 120kms.
The high-spec Tork Kratos R is offered in 4 colours – White, Black, Red & Blue. It is fitted with a 4kWh battery pack, but it offers more power of 9kW and a higher torque of 38Nm. It is claimed to achieve 0-40kmph in just 3.5 seconds. The motorcycle also supports a fast charging options. The battery is claimed to achieve 0-80% charge in just 1 hour.
