10. Volkswagen Vento Facelift
The second product from the German carmaker in our list of upcoming new car launches during Diwali 2016 is the facelifted Vento sedan. Volkswagen will introduce the car with minor design updates and a more powerful diesel engine. Currently, the VW Vento is available with two petrol power mills – 1.2-litre TSI, 1.6-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TDI diesel. Power figures of the new 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine will be 5bhp higher than the current one. Though, the torque will remain unchanged – 250Nm.
Major exterior and interior updates include new headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a new touchscreen infotainment system, Mirrorlink connectivity, auto dimming IRVM, rain sensing wipers, etc.
