2018 BMW X3 Petrol Launched In India; Priced At Rs 56.90 Lakh

Powering the new BMW X3 petrol is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine producing 252bhp and 350Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed AT gearbox

After launching the 2018 X3 diesel SUV, BMW has now launched the petrol version of the X3 in the Indian market. The all-new BMW X3 xDrive30i is priced at Rs 56.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It will rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4Matic, Land Rover Discovery Sport HSE and the Lexus NX 300h.

Powering the new BMW X3 petrol is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 252bhp and a peak torque of 350Nm. It is equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and the xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The gasoline model is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 6.3 seconds. Based on new platform, the new BMW X3 is stiffer and around 55kg lighter than its predecessor. Measuring 4,716mm in length, 1,897mm in width and 1,676mm in height, the new X3 model is 61mm longer, 17mm wider and 16mm higher than the previous car. Adding to it, the wheelbase has been increased by 54mm to 2,864mm.

The diesel version of the new BMW X3 is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 190bhp of maximum power and 400Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all-4 wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
