New Bajaj Platina 110 CBS Reaches Dealership – Priced at Rs 49,300

Homegrown two-wheeler maker, Bajaj Auto has introduced a new variant of its entry-level motorcycle – Platina. Called the Platina 110 with CBS, the new motorcycle has already been reached to dealerships. Though, Bajaj’s official website is yet to be updated with the new bike. The bike is reportedly priced at Rs 49,300.

The new Platina 110 is more powerful than the standard Platina. Instead of 102cc air-cooled DTS-i engine, the new motorcycle gets the Discover 110’s 115.5cc air-cooled DTS-I engine. This engine is capable of producing 8.6bhp of power and 9.81Nm of torque, which makes it 0.7bhp more powerful and 1.46Nm torquier than the existing model. In terms of proportions, the new Bajaj Platina 110 CBS is 3mm longer and 7mm taller than the standard model. It measures 2,006mm in length and 1,076mm in height, while the fuel tank capacity has been reduced by 0.5-litres to 11-litres. Also See – New Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Revealed

The 2019 Bajaj Platina 110 comes equipped with the Combi-Braking System, which Bajaj calls Anti Skid Braking System. For people not in the know, CBS system will be mandatory on bikes below 125cc as per the new safety regulations that will come into effect from April 2019. In terms of styling, the new Bajaj Platina 110 remains largely identical to the regular model. It receives new decals inspired from the Discover range. The new Platina 110 is around Rs 2,000 expensive than the current bike.
