New 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift Might Look Like This – Rumour

Tata Harrier, the top-selling mid-size SUV from the home-grown automaker, is ready to receive a noticeable update in early 2023. If reports are to be believed, the new 2023 Tata Harrier facelift might debut at the Delhi Auto Expo in January. While its official debut is a few weeks away, here’s a digital rendering previewing possible design changes that could be made to the vehicle.

The front fascia of the rendered Harrier features newly-designed LED headlamps instead of the conventional split setup, a new grille and revised fog lamp assembly with black surrounds. The hood and wheel arches appear more pronounced than before. The rendered model has sporty black roof rails. Its flush door handles look similar to the Range Rover Velar and alloy wheels share resemblance with the Land Rover Defender. The rear profile is likely to witness a few updates.

The new 2023 Tata Harrier facelift could be the brand’s first model to come with the ADAS tech (advanced driver assistance system). It will offer safety features such as collision mitigation system, electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist, lane departure warning system, hill start aid, departure warning system and automatic traction control. The carmaker might also offer a 360 degree surround view camera along with the updated infotainment system. The info unit might come with the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Engine setup is likely to be carried forward from the existing model. That means, the new 2023 Tata Harrier facelift will continue to source power from the 2.0L diesel engine. The oil burner, with manual and automatic gearboxes, delivers a claimed power of 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. Rajan Amba, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Care at Tata Motors denied rumours of the Harrier petrol SUV. He said that the company’s focus isn’t on the petrol variants of the Harrier and Safari SUVs.
