New 2023 Hyundai Verna Interior Revealed – Video, Images

Hyundai Motor India released yet another teaser video of the new-generation Verna that’s slated to go on sale on 21st March, 2023. The latest teaser shows steering wheel and a fully digital instrument cluster of the sedan. One can notice the lane assist button on the steering wheel hinting that the teased model is the top-spec SX (O) trim with ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). It also confirms that the new 2023 Hyundai Verna comes equipped with alloy wheels, LED DRLs and LED taillamps along with the 1.5L Turbo badging at the rear.

Major design changes have been made to the new-generation Verna. The sedan carries the brand’s new design language and features a newly-designed trapezoidal front grille, the signature badge on the hood and full length LED DRLs strip running across the front. The sloping roofline, a sunroof, differently designed C pillars, a sunroof, newly-designed diamond cut alloy wheels, blacked out B pillars and a large glass area add more to its new looks.

The carmaker has confirmed that the new 2023 Hyundai Verna measures 4535mm in length, 1765mm in width and 1475mm in height with a wheelbase of 2670mm. That means, it’s wider and more spacious than its arch rival – Honda City. In fact, the new Verna has more boot space to offer. The sedan model lineup gets 3 new single tone colour schemes – Atlas White, Abyss Black and Tellurian Brown.

The new 2023 Hyundai Verna will be made available with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol engine options. The naturally aspirated motor delivers a maximum power of 113bhp and 114Nm of torque. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or an iVT gearbox. The turbo petrol unit pushes out a claimed power of 160bhp, thus making it the most powerful sedan in its segment. Its torque figure stands at 253Nn. The turbo-petrol variants will be offered with the 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic transmissions. Hyundai upgraded both engines to make them E20 ethanol-blend fuel compliant.
