New 2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift – Launch & All Key Details

Hyundai Motor India is all set to roll out the updated Creta SUV early next year. The model will make its India debut at the Delhi Auto Expo in January 2023, and its prices are likely to be announced there. Front, Rear Design Changes

The new Creta carries an all-new front featuring the brand’s new parametric grille running across its width and slightly repositioned and more rectangular headlamps with LED DRLs. The front bumper has also been revised and it has slimmer and wider air-inlet. The sharper taillamps and slightly tweaked boot lid and bumper give a refreshing look to its rear profile. The taillamp clusters have two vertical creases on each side.

ADAS, More Features

The biggest feature update is the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) offering safety features such as autonomous emergency braking with forward collision avoidance, blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist. The new 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift has an updated 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that seems to be borrowed from the Alcazar.

Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car tech has also been updated. Now, it offers features such as stolen vehicle tracking, stole vehicle immobilization and a valet parking mode. All aforementioned features will be accessible via a smartphone. The new Creta continues to come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, cooled front seats and an air purifier.

Same Engines

As mentioned above, the new 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift uses the same 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol, 1.4L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. Rumour has it that the carmaker might introduce the Creta CNG version with the mid-life update. The SUV model lineup comes with a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic, a 7-speed DCT automatic, a CVT automatic and an iMT gearbox option.

Expected Prices

At present, the Creta SUV is available within the price range of Rs 10.44 lakh – Rs 18.24 lakh (all, ex-showroom). With improved styling, advanced safety tech and new features, the facelifted version is likely to witnessed a price hike. We expect it cost between Rs 11 lakh – Rs 18.50 lakh.
