New 2022 Maruti XL6 Spy Video, Images Reveal Details

A latest spy video shows a fully camouflaged test mule of an upcoming MPV that appears to be the new 2022 Maruti XL6 facelift. While its official launch timeline is yet to be revealed, the model is likely to arrive early next year (possibly in January 2022). The model carries a newly-designed grille and alloy wheels, while its entire design remains unchanged. The new XL6 features the same headlamps, fog lamp units and taillamps. If reports are to be believed, this time around the MPV will be offered with 6 and 7-seats configurations. Interior details are still under the wraps. Though, it’s likely to come with the new seat upholstery along with a bunch of new features. The higher Alpha trim will continue to be offered with three exclusive features, namely, leather seats and steering wheel, rear parking camera, automatic headlamps with a follow-me-home function.

The entry-level XL6 Zeta variant will offer LED headlamps, fog lamps and taillamps, 15-inch alloys, rear defogger and wash/wipe, front and rear arm rests, height adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry and go with push button start, automatic climate control, power windows, cruise control, power folding and adjustable headrests for all three rows, 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, voice commands and Bluetooth, 4-speakers and two tweeters, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and brake assist, hill start assist, electronic stability program, central locking and Isofix child seat mounts. Under the hood, the new 2022 Maruti XL6 facelift is likely to house the same 1.5L petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. It delivers a claimed power of 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. The MPV will continue to come with the 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox options.
