New 2022 Hyundai Venue – Prices, Key Changes, Variant-Wise Features

The new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift has finally been launched in the country. The updated model lineup comes in 10 variants spread across 6 trims – E, S, S+, S (O), SX and SX (O). Noticeable changes have been made to its exterior and interior, while the engine and gearbox options remain unchanged.

Prices of the petrol variants start from Rs 7.53 lakh and go up to Rs 12.57 lakh. There are four turbo-petrol variants, which are priced between Rs 9.99 lakh – Rs 12.57 lakh. The new Venue diesel is available within the price range of Rs 9.99 lakh – Rs 12.32 lakh. All aforementioned prices are introductory, ex-showroom Delhi.

With the mid-life update, the Venue has received a newly-designed grille with dark chrome treatment (inspired by Palisade SUV), revised front bumper and a wider and more pronounced faux skid plate at the front end. The new alloy wheels and wheel caps enhance its side profile. At the back, the SUV features redesigned taillamp connected by an LED light bar, updated bumper and new tailgate design. Major change inside the cabin comes in the form of the new dual-tone black and beige interior theme replacing the old all-black scheme. The new Hyundai Venue 20222 gets a fully digital instrument cluster, an updated infotainment system with over 60 connected car features, a drive mode selector on the centre console, a new feature ‘Sounds of Nature’ and Alexa and Google voice assistant. The new Venue is the first vehicle in its segment to offer two-step reclining rear seat.

2022 Hyundai Venue Variants

As mentioned above, the new Hyundai Venue comes with the same engine setup that includes a 1.2L petrol, a 1.5L diesel and a 1.0L turbo petrol. The naturally aspirated petrol motor makes 82bhp with 115Nm, while turbo-petrol unit is good for 118bhp and 172Nm. The oil burner generates a top power of 99bhp and 240Nm of torque. The subcompact SUV model lineup continues to come with four gearbox options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
