New 2018 Maruti Ertiga Launching Tomorrow
The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will come in 4 trim levels and in total of 10 variants.
India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the much-awaited new-generation Ertiga MPV tomorrow. Bookings for the new model have already been commenced at a token amount of Rs 11,000. Most of the details about the engine specs, variants and features have already been out on the web-world. The carmaker has already reveal that the new Ertiga will come with a new 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with SHVS mild-hybrid technology along with the existing 1.3-litre MJD diesel engine.
For transmission options, the new Maruti Ertiga gets a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic unit. It will be the most fuel efficient 7-seater car in India. As per the leaked information, the diesel model will have an ARAI rated fuel economy of 25.47kmpl. The new Ertiga will arrive in 4 trim levels – L, V, Z and Z+ and in total of 10 variants. Features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Isofix child seat mounts, speed sensitive door lock, rear parking sensors, LED tail-lights, central locking and projector headlamps will be offered as standard. The range-topping model will be equipped with a 7.0-inch SmartPlay infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, along with rear parking camera and leather wrapped steering wheel. The new Maruti Ertiga is based on the new-generation Suzuki’s Heartect platform, which also underpins the Maruti Swift and Dzire. The MPV is likely to be priced in the range of Rs 7 lakh to Rs 11 lakh. It won’t have a direct competition, but the top-spec model will challenge the recently launched Mahindra Marazzo.
