2015 Chevrolet Captiva launched

General Motors India has launched the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva SUV in the Indian car market. The SUV is available in both 4×2 manual and 4×4 automatic variants, and is priced in the range of Rs. 25.13 lakh and Rs. 27.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Captiva SUV gets minimal changes including new Cluster Ionizer, new instrument cluster and new projector headlamps. The Cluster Ionizer generates ions to purify and deodorize cabin interiors.

The 2015 Chevrolet Captiva is powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine that also powers the previous model. This engine is capable of producing a top power output of 187bhp at 3,800rpm and a peak torque of 400Nm at 2000rpm. The engine is paired to either a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual gearbox. On safety front, the SUV gets six airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist.

In India, it has created a niche for itself in the premium SUV segment. The Captiva offers what our customers across India have started associating with”.
