Tata Motors has finally launched the power-steering equipped Nano Twist in India at Rs 2.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has also started taking pre-orders for the car, with delivering commencing with immediate effect. Launched in a new Damson Purple colour, the all new variant from the Tata Motors will feature a power steering and updated instrument cluster.
The exterior of the Tata Nano Twist looks similar to the regular version, excpe the Twist badge given on the tailgate of the car. What make the Nano Twist different from the regular version is the ZF designed electric power steering unit, which help the car drive on busy roads quite easily. The all new model also gets refreshed instrument cluster that has distance to empty function, digital trip meter and the clock . The all new Nano Twist is available with XT trim.
Other than the power-steering, the car has gone through no mechanical upgrades. It continues to derive its power from a 624cc, twin-cylinder, MPFI engine, which mated to a four-speed manual transmission churns out a maximum power output of 37.4bhp and 51Nm of peak torque.
Tata Motors is also working on Nano diesel, however, the company hasn’t yet revealed the launch details of the car.
