The picture of the 2014 Fiat Punto facelift provides some important information about the changes. The front façade of the hatchback takes its styling cues with the Avventura crossover concept. The front fascia of the hatchback features the rounded-square grille which is complemented by black, blacked out headlamps. The lower and wide air dam is heavily sculpted with big, chrome-lined quarter for the trapezoidal shaped fog lamps. The side profile of the hatchback looks identical to the current generation model; however, it features a new set of alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the vehicle will get the same interior elements that are available in the Fiat Linea. It is expected to go more premium. The updated hatchback gets the beige and black interior, restyled centre console, new upholstery and others. The vehicle will get advanced safety and security features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD, power steering with audio controls mounted on it, automatic climate control and others.
Mechanically, the Fiat Punto facelift is expected to remain unchanged, which means two petrol engines and a diesel mill. While the oil burner has tried and trusted 1.3-litre Multi-Jet engine the gasoline model gets a 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre engines.
