Nahak Motors has launched first ever 100 percent made in India electric bicycles at starting price of INR 27,000. The E-Cycles were launched by Hornable Minister of State (MSME), Government of India Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi. The new E-Cycles are made of 100% Indian Technology in Faridabad, Haryana. In a bid to overcome the challenges on supply of key components and labour skill gap, Nahak Motors has kept the entire manufacturing domestic.
E-Cycles from Nahak Motors have been especially designed for the Indian terrain. The Lithium Battery on the E-Cycles takes around 2 hours to get fully charged and it can run upto 25 kilometers once fully charged. It can be charged from even a regular power socket. The E-Cycles will come with mixed Iron frame.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Pravat Kumar Nahak, Chairman, Nahak Group said, “As the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak had put a brake on the auto industry across the globe. Nahak Motors had launched high-speed sports electric bikes at Auto Expo 2020, named P14 and RP46. The top speed of P14 bike is 120kmph and in a single charge, the bike will run 150+ kilometers. The peak power of the bike will be 6.4KW. Booking for the bike shall begin on February 1, 2021.
