Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is currently the top-selling SUV in the Indian market. One of the customers has modified his Brezza, which now looks like an upmarket Jeep Compass. The 7-slat grille is Jeep’s signature design highlight, which can be seen on all Jeep SUVs sold across the world. Besides cosmetic changes, the modified Vitara Brezza is more or less a stock car. It is powered by the same 1.3-litre Fiat’s sourced Multijet turbodiesel engine that is capable of producing 89bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other, Jeep Compass is powered by a 2.0-litre MJD diesel engine producing 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. As a reminder, Maruti is planning to launch the petrol version of the Vitara Brezza in the market in near future. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder Boosterjet engine that also powers the Baleno RS. This engine is capable of producing 100bhp of power and 150Nm of torque.
