Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is currently the top-selling SUV in the Indian market. One of the customers has modified his Brezza, which now looks like an upmarket Jeep Compass. Featuring new grille, the modified Brezza looks quite aggressive. The major change to the car is the addition of Compass-like 7-slat grille. The 7-slat grille is Jeep’s signature design highlight, which can be seen on all Jeep SUVs sold across the world. Besides cosmetic changes, the modified Vitara Brezza is more or less a stock car. It is powered by the same 1.3-litre Fiat’s sourced Multijet turbodiesel engine that is capable of producing 89bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other, Jeep Compass is powered by a 2.0-litre MJD diesel engine producing 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. As a reminder, Maruti is planning to launch the petrol version of the Vitara Brezza in the market in near future. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder Boosterjet engine that also powers the Baleno RS. This engine is capable of producing 100bhp of power and 150Nm of torque.
