While the regular 1.3L DDis diesel powertrain delivers 74bhp at 4,000rpm, the modified unit delivers 95bhp. Further enhancing its efficiency are the ‘Performance fully synthetic engine oil’ (instead of the normal lubricate), Molygen oil and Cera Tec from Liqui Moly. The latter reduces the wear and tear inside the engine.
What adds to its ‘cool quotient’ is the Glossy Black mirror, window pillar, roof top and spoiler. The modified Maruti Baleno gets honey-comb mesh grille at the front chrome accent front grille instead of the regular 6-row unit. In order to give a sportier feel to the car, Aswin has replaced the regular 15-inch 5.5J, 185/65 R15 tyres with larger 17-inch 9J, 215/45 R17 tyres. Interior of this modified Maruti Baleno offers a more premium feel. The key changes include a completely new audio system, Kicker sub woofer, Hertz HCP-4 4 Channel Amp, Sony Xplode 2 Channel Amp, Pioneer Headunit, Infinity front door components and JBL back door components.
