Hero Splendor Modified

Named the Tracker, this retro themed motorcycle is built by Ayas Motorcycle Customs, Pune and will definitely remind you of the Triumph’s Street Twin.

When it comes to modification or building custom motorcycles, Royal Enfield and Pulsars are the two hot favourite choices of most custom houses in India. Motorcycle fanatics in our country love these two motorcycles so much that anything from a set of new alloys to basic body wrapping is considered as a mod job. So, selling a modified Pulsar or a Royal Enfield is any day easier for the custom houses. Also Read – Hero Karizma Modified To Look Like Suzuki Hayabusa

But then, there are some creative minds who think otherwise and vision things differently. Here is one brilliant example of the same.

Named the Tracker, this retro themed motorcycle is built by Ayas Motorcycle Customs, Pune and will definitely remind you of the Triumph’s Street Twin. Now comes the most interesting bit of the story – the Tracker is based on the very humble Hero Splendor. Yes, you read it right – the Splendor. A bike that’s known for its reliability and low cost of owner ship – is the donor for this amazing looking motorcycle you see in the pictures here. It gets a grey-black dual theme paintjob with an out-of-the-place looking chrome exhaust. The yellow-black strips come as a neat touch to the overall look. The round head light wears chrome surround around it and the stock speedo is replaced with a single pod unit. Trying out a Ducati Scrambler with that one! Engine, handle bar and frame are painted all black and it gets a set of fatter tyres as well. There’s no alteration to the heart, though. The Tracker retains the same tried-tested 97.2 cc engine from the stock Splendor. Also See – Top 5 Best Modified Bajaj Dominar 400 – Pictures & Details

When you’ll look at the Tracker as a regular mod job – then it might fail to catch your attention in the first place – but after knowing the fact that it was a Splendor before this – ignoring it is quite difficult.
