Prices of the Mitsubishi Outlander are likely to fall in range of Rs 28 lakh – Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mitsubishi is all set to re-introduce the Outlander SUV in the Indian market. Prior to its launch, the official bookings for the vehicle have been commenced across the nation. The launch date is yet to be announced by the carmaker. In India, the Mitsubishi Outlander will be brought as a CBU (Completely Built Up) unit and is estimated to be priced between Rs 28 lakh – Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Available with 7-seats configuration, the Outlander SUV sits on the new monocoque chassis and features the brand’s new design language. Upfront of the vehicle has aggressive appeal – thanks to its sharp projector headlamps with LED elements, LED DRLs and bold grille with dual slats and chrome and aluminium treatment. The overall length, width and height of the SUV measures 4,695mm, 1,810mm and 1,710mm respectively. It wheelbase and ground clearance stand at 2,670mm and 190mm respectively. In terms of features, the Outlander will loaded with several goodies including a 6.1-inch central display, Rockford audio system with four speakers, two tweeters, one woofer and a 710-watt amplifier, electric sunroof, leather seats, electric parking brake, dual zone climate control, etc.

Powering the Outlander is a 2.4-litre MIVEC petrol engine paired to a 6-speed CVT gearbox and Mitsubishi’s new Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) AWD system with an active front differential. Its power and torque figures stand at 167bhp at 6,000rpm and 222Nm of torque at 4,100rpm.
