Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has launched new Mirage Sedan aka Attrage in the Australian market at a starting price of $14,490 (Rs. 8.63 lakh). It will join the Australia’s most affordable hatchback- the Mirage hatch.
The small sedan measures 4244mm in length and 1669mm in width and 1514mm in height. It has a large wheelbase of 2550mm and 170mm of ground clearance. This model offers an impressive boot space of 450-litres which can easily accommodates 4 suitcases.
Under the hood, the Mirage Sedan gets the same the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power output of 76bhp at 6000rpm and a peak torque of 100Nm at 4000rpm. The engine is paired to either five-speed manual or CVT.
The entry level ES trim has 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior highlights, power windows and mirrors, body coloured door handles and a black suede-touch interior trim. Adding to it, this variant gets manual air conditioning, Bluetooth phone connectivity with audio streaming, power steering with controls mounted on it, and height adjustable drivers’ seat.
The top spec LS model is equipped with automatic climate control, keyless entry and push button start, automatic headlamps, chrome inserts, and leather wrapped steering. On safety front, this model gets six airbags, active stability control, emergency-stop brake light, hill start control and others.
