Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Facelift Teaser Video Released

Mitsubishi has released a new teaser video of the 2021 Eclipse Cross facelift. The new teaser shows that the new version of the SUV Coupe has plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) technology and the 4WD system. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross facelift is expected to be introduced before the end of this financial year.

Going by the teaser, it is visible that the new Eclipse Cross facelift will receive an all-new front design. It will have new bumper and headlamps. The headlamp unit is now shifted to the bottom side from the top-side and near the hood in the previous model. The upper side now has LED daytime running lamps. The rear lights in the outgoing model seem to connect from left to right and split the rear glass into 2. This has been changed in the new model. It gets a new LED bar that connects the tail-lights, and the new set-up resembles the Mitsubishi Xpander. The new design draws inspiration from the Mitsubishi e-Evolution concept 2, which emphasizes the strength and dynamics of the Mitsubishi Motors SUV heritage, while enhancing the beauty and elegance of the SUV Coupe.

The latest Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross facelift will receive the Plug-in Hybrid technology (PHEV). It is expected to be the same unit that also powers the Mitsubishi Outlander. The company said that the “the new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is the first step towards the next generation of Mitsubishi Design, and lots of other things to come”.
