Talking about MG’s future plant, the British carmaker will soon bring in the 7-seater version of the Hector SUV. Called the MG Hector Plus, the vehicle was first previewed at this year’s Auto Expo. Once launched, it will put up against the Mahindra XUV500 and the upcoming Tata Gravitas. Compared to the standard model, the Hector Plus is 40mm longer and offers an extra third row of seat. The width and height, however, remain unchanged.

After the MG Hector Plus, the carmaker will launch the Gloster premium 7-seater SUV. The SUV will be equipped with a 2.0L turbo diesel and a 2.0L turbo petrol engine generating power worth 218bhp with 480Nm and 224bhp with 360Nm respectively. Both motors will be paired to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The SUV will come with 4WD (four-wheel-drive system) and offer 7 driving modes including Economy, Motion, Automatic, Snow, Rock, Mud and Sandy.
