MG Maxus D90 Will Be Bigger Than Fortuner and Endeavour
MG Maxus D90, the upcoming 7-seater SUV from the British carmaker in India, will be the biggest vehicle in its segment. The overall length, width and height of the SUV stand at 5005mm, 1932mm and 1875mm respectively.
While the Toyota Fortuner measures 4795mm in length, 1855mm in width and 1835mm in height, the Ford Endeavour is 4903mm long, 1869mm wide and 1837mm taller. That said, the MG Maxus D90 will 210mm longer, 77mm wider and 40mm taller than the Fortuner and 102mm longer, 63mm wider and 38mm taller than the Endeavour.
In fact, the new 7-seater SUV from MG sits on 2950mm wheelbase which is 205mm and 100mm longer than the Fortuner (2745mm) and Endeavour (2850mm) respectively. Read – MG To Launch Kia Seltos Rival In India
Globally, the MG Maxus D90 has been made available with a 2.0L petrol engine that’s good for 224bhp and 360Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. In India, the 7-seater SUV could be offered with both petrol and diesel powertrain options.
The diesel version of the SUV might source the 2.0L motor from the Hector. It will come with 4WD (four-wheel-drive) system along with a low range transfer case. The SUV will offer 7 driving modes including Economy, Motion, Snow, Mud, Sandy, Rock and Automatic.
