MG Hector Gets Waiting Period Upto 4 Months; Petrol Automatic In Demand
MG Hector received 10,000 bookings even before its launch.
MG (Morris Garages) has finally made its entry in India with the Hector SUV. The SUV has been made available in four variants (Style, Super, Sharp and Smart) and three engine options (141bhp, 1.5L petrol, petrol hybrid and 168bhp, 2.0L diesel). The British carmaker revealed that the SUV received 10,000 bookings even before its launch. Since bookings for the MG Hector are keep pouring in, its waiting period sours up to 4 months.
The petrol variants with a dual-clutch automatic transmission are high in demand, commanding a waiting period up to 4 months. The other variants are observing a waiting period up to 3 months. The MG Hector SUV lineup comes in a total of 11 variants including 2 petrol manual, 2 petrol automatic, 3 petrol-hybrid manual and 4 diesel manual. While petrol variants are priced from Rs 12.18 lakh to Rs 16.78 lakh, the diesel models are available in the price range of Rs 13.18 lakh – Rs 16.88 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. All variants of the MG Hector get dual airbags, electronic stability program, traction control system, hill hold control, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, 3 point seatbelts for all passengers, front seatbelt pretensioner and load limitor, speed warning alert, ISOFIX child seat anchors, speed sensing auto door lock, rear defogger as standard safety features, meeting the new safety norms.
