MG Hector Bookings To Resume From 29th September, 2019
MG Motor India will restart accepting bookings for the Hector SUV from September 29, 2019. The British carmaker received over 21,000 bookings for the vehicle within 45 days of its arrival in the market. In the last two months, the company managed to sell over 3,500 units of the MG Hector.
Aiming to ensure timely delivery to customers who have already booked the SUV in advance, the company had temporarily stopped taking bookings for the vehicle due to high demand in July.
The all-new SUV from the British carmaker was launched on 28th June and its pre-bookings were commenced from 4th June. The company had begun its Indian operations with 120 dealerships across the nation and it aims increase it up to 250 touch points by the end of this month (September).
MG Motor India’s Halol based manufacturing plant serves as production hub for the Hector. Currently, the facility has a production capacity of around 80,000 units per annum. The MG Hector comes in four trim levels – Style, Super, Smart and Sharp – priced from Rs 12.18 lakh to Rs 16.88 lakh. The petrol automatic and diesel manual variants are high in demand. The Smart and Sharp petrol trims with DCT gearbox cost Rs 15.28 lakh and Rs 16.78 lakh respectively. The SUV lineup includes four diesel models – Style, Super, Smart and Sharp – priced at Rs 13.18 lakh, Rs 14.18 lakh, Rs 15.48 lakh and Rs 16.88 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.
