Mercedes-Benz India has rolled out the new editions of its two performance cars – Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 AMATIC Coupe and Mercedes-AMG SLC 43. Called the Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ and SLC 43 ‘RedArt’, the new models have been priced at Rs 1.02 crore and Rs 87.48 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, India. Only 25 units of both the editions will be sold across the country.
Mercedes-AMG GLE 4MATIC Coupe OrangeArt edition comes with sporty exterior packages with orange highlights such as AMG Line exterior, Night Package and 21-inch AMG alloy wheels. The new edition gets full LED headlamps with Intelligent light system and black LED rings. The front bumper lip and alloy rim flange are highlighted in orange paint scheme. Interior of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 4MATIC Coupe OrangeArt edition looks sporty with black nappa leather/DINAMICA microfiber with orange piping and grey contrasting top stitching. It also gets floor mats with orange AMG lettering and piping and door centre panels with black DINAMICA microfiber and contrasting grey top stitching. The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 RedArt edition, on the other hand, features exclusive design bits and red accents on inside and out. With ‘Designo Selenite Grey Magno’ finish, the performance convertible gets red elements on the front and rear bumpers and alloy wheels. The high-gloss black 18-inch AMG 10-spoke, lightweight alloy wheels with red rim flange add more to its sporty looks.
The brake callipers have also been painted in red shade with AMG lettering. Step inside and you will notice lots of red accents enhancing its sporty appeal. For power, both the performance cars use a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine paired to an automatic gearbox. This gasoline unit makes power worth 367bhp against 520Nm of torque.
