Mercedes GLC Celebration Edition is available in two trims – 220d and 300 – priced at Rs 50.86 lakh and Rs 51.25 lakh respectively.

To commemorate 70st Independence day, Mercedes-Benz India has introduced a special edition of its popular GLC SUV in the country. Called the Mercedes GLC Celebration Edition, this version comes with a kit of exclusive accessories enhancing sporty and luxury quotient of the model. Just to jog your memory, the Mercedes GLC SUV had its India debut in June 2016. And the company recently introduced the high performance version of the car – Mercedes AMG GLC 43 Coupe – which was the third AMG product from the carmaker this year.

The Mercedes GLC Celebration Edition is made available in two variants – GLC 220d and GLC 300 – priced at Rs 50.86 lakh and Rs 51.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India). Mercedes GLC Celebration Edition Price

On the exterior, the GLC special edition features LED logo projector integrated on the exit lamps on the side doors. The signature STAR now shadows while entering and existing the car. The exterior mirror housing gets sporty black high gloss. The face of the car looks sportier with high-sheen chromed trim elements in the air intakes. What further enhances its aesthetic e appeal is the rear trim strip in chrome complimenting the chrome exterior elements. Inside the cabin, you will notice the high quality stainless steel with non-slip stud inlay. The sports pedal is said to be extremely durable and hardwearing. The car also gets Garmin Map Pilot SD card system with high resolution coloured multimedia display. It offers all the benefits of a Garmin navigation system to the Audio 20 CD Telematics system. Other features are carried over from the regular model. The standard Mercedes GLC comes with a 136bhp, 2.1L diesel and 183bhp, 2.0L petrol engine options.
